Starting from humble beginnings in 2010, KeyPay was born when Phil Bernie and Richard McLean decided to create a more accessible version of payroll utilising the capacity of the “cloud” to make payroll easier for all to access.

In October 2011 KeyPay went to market with Paul Duran and Kristian Reynolds joining the founder group, with Webscale Pty Ltd becoming the intellectual owner of the KeyPay.
The private beta ran for 12 months and we applied all the user feedback to deliver the workflows you still see in the product today. Since public release on the 1st of July 2012 we have invested heavily in our people and product, allowing us to deliver a truly unique end to end people management and payroll compliance tool unrivalled in the market.
